Our Ministry team continued
Stuart Ager (Licensed Lay Minister):
has been attached to St Peter, Cranbourne since 1995 and has been a Reader/LLM since 1989. He was formerly the head of RE in a secondary school. He retired recently from a Christian publishing company.
Mary Knight (Licensed Lay Minister):
has lived in Chavey Down since 1973 when she and her husband joined the staff of Heathfield School, Ascot. Mary retired from her position as Deputy Head in 1996. Three years before retiring Mary became a Reader/LLM in the Benefice and also fulfilled duties in the school chapel. In the Benefice she has a special responsibility for the Parish of Winkfield, taking Morning Prayer services, occasional Family services and funerals when necessary. Mary is a member of the Deanery Synod and has also served as Church Warden and Deputy. Mary’s husband is the organist at Holy Trinity Church, Bracknell and also plays at our churches on occasions.
Jacki Thomas (Licensed Lay Minister) : 
Jacki is part-time Lay Chaplain at Thames Hospicecare in Ascot and Windsor.
With her husband Mike, who is also an LLM, she runs an ecumenical music and drama group which presents review-style evening services. She is a trained Spiritual Director, a musician of sorts, a keen golfer and an avid reader (time permitting). They have three children - all married.
Mike Thomas (Licensed Lay Minister):
In addition to LLM duties Mike is a Governor and School Chaplain at a local school. Together with his wife Jacki (above), he started the music/drama group Revelation which presents events to churches in and around Berkshire, West Surrey and North Hampshire.
He has lived and worshipped in the parish since 1983. He works full-time.
