Parish Prayer
Blessed Lord, who caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our learning: help us so to hear them, to read, mark, learn and inwardly digest them that, through patience, and the comfort of your holy word, we may embrace and for ever hold fast the hope of everlasting life, which you have given us in our Saviour Jesus Christ, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. AMEN

St Martin's Defibrillator - Official Unveiling
A new defibrillator
has been installed in Chavey Down, unveiled by Councillor Nigel Atkinson
representing Winkfield Parish Council and Reverend Patrick Mukholi of St
Martin’s Church Chavey Down. The defibrillator has been purchased and
installed using donations from the Parish Council, Department of Health
& Social Care and the local table tennis club. Council Atkinson said
"We’re pleased to provide a donation towards this new defibrillator for
the residents of Chavey Down and congregation of St Martin’s Church. It’s also
great to see local residents actively involved in the defibrillator training”,
Reverend Mukholi added "It's always a great feeling to see a community
rally together for such a universally helpful project. I am sure this
defibrillator will save many lives in the days and years to come. Thanks be to
God"
Installed on the
outside wall of the church hall in Chavey Down and available 24 hours a day the
defibrillator joins an important network of life saving devices covering the
local area and will be maintained by the local church.
In an emergency, it
can be accessed by calling 999 and following the instructions

A social table tennis group has started in
St Martin's Church Hall, we meet on Thursday evening between 7pm and
8:30pm, it is open to all, come along 1st session free and then £2
per session

St Peter’s Choir
St Peter’s Choir is group of enthusiastic singers of all
ages who enjoy fellowship, singing together and see music as an important part
of worship.
We welcome new members to join us either as
weekly singers at services or for special occasions. We meet on Thursday
evenings at 7pm, sometimes on zoom, during the winter at my house and in
the summer, at church.
When we have
special occasions I can see singers at other convenient times to fit in with
work commitments or with children I can
fit in a practice around school or after school activities.
