St Mary’s Hand Bell Ringers
Practice: Wednesday Evenings 6:30pm to 7:45pm
We are a social group who enjoy making music with our lovely hand bells.
We regularly ring at church services and concerts as well as visiting other venues when we raise money for charity.
We are looking to recruit new members to join us in order to increase our musical repertoire. An ability to read music is useful but not essential – the ability to count four is essential!! All the music is carefully marked to ensure that anyone can join in.
Do come along and give it a go - you will be made very welcome.

We recently hosted a “Tea Together” event with a group called the “Back Swans” joining us for an evening. We rang three specially chosen pieces of music that we had all practiced beforehand and several solo pieces from each band. Adding to the enjoyment was a delicious tea of homemade scones and jam, homemade brownies, strawberries and cream and some figs!! We take our catering seriously here at Winkfield!!
